Ian Mallon Solicitors recently settled a claim for a client, following a claim for significant property damage to their licensed premises. Insurers initially denied cover on the basis of non disclosure of a change of use and change of entertainment carried out within the premises. However, we were able to produce a copy of the licence for the premises which was previously supplied to the Insurers Brokers clearly outlining the entertainment and use of the licensed premises. The case settled for £85,000.00 plus costs.
